1st Day of School

The first day of school has come and gone. They are already 3 weeks into it. Hannah is loving being in the 2nd grade. Her class is in a temporary building and they think it's great fun to be out there. This is the first year that she will have actual grades. It'll be interesting to see how she handles it. She is such a perfectionist and does not like to be wrong, I'm wondering what she'll do when she doesn't make a perfect score on something.


Abby is excited to have her own desk. Last year they all sat at tables together, and this year she has all her things at her fingertips. She seems to be doing well. She is definitely worn out by the end of the week (i.e. emotional). But her reading is already improving.


Both girls love their teachers and are glad to be back in school with all their friends.

One of the cool things is that Angela Glynn (Abby's godmother) got to be here for the 1st day of school again. Everyone LOVED that!

Shout out!

I just want to give a shout out to my friends in Georgia. Thanks for carrying around Lisa On A Stick the whole time I was in Texas. My scrapbook was awesome! I show it to anyone who'll stand still. You make me feel loved and missed!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!
